Asha Edouard is a passionate and dedicated Haitian American professional who has devoted her life to the empowerment and well-being of others. With a unique blend of expertise in social work, spiritual therapies, and holistic healing, Asha combines her knowledge and skills to support clients in achieving optimal health and wellness.

With a background in mental health, Asha has acquired extensive experience in assisting individuals and communities facing various challenges. Her compassionate and empathetic approach allows her to connect deeply with her clients, providing a safe and nurturing space for them to explore their emotions, experiences, and personal journeys.

In addition to her mental health expertise, Asha is also a skilled doula and birth worker. Recognizing the transformative power of birth, she is committed to helping expectant parents navigate the beautiful and sometimes complex process of bringing new life into the world. Her extensive knowledge of birthing practices and her warm, supportive presence make her an invaluable asset during the sacred and vulnerable moments of childbirth.

Asha's commitment to holistic healing extends to her practice as a reiki healer. She embraces the belief that physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being are interconnected and that healing should address the whole person. Through the gentle touch and energy balancing of reiki, Asha promotes relaxation, stress reduction, and overall harmony, enabling her clients to tap into their innate healing abilities.

As a Haitian American, Asha honors her cultural heritage and incorporates ancestral wisdom and traditions into her work. She recognizes the importance of cultural sensitivity and strives to create inclusive and affirming spaces for clients of diverse backgrounds.

Currently, Asha is excited to be accepting doula clients for birth, postpartum and death/bereavement. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive support throughout the entire birthing journey, from prenatal preparation to postpartum care. Her nurturing and empowering presence ensures that expectant parents feel deeply supported and valued during this transformative time in their lives.

As a Haitian doula, Asha recognizes and honors the rich traditions and spiritual beliefs that are interwoven into Haitian culture. She understands that pregnancy and childbirth hold immense cultural importance and are viewed as sacred and transformative experiences. Asha draws upon her heritage to infuse her doula practice with rituals, customs, and wisdom passed down through generations, creating a sense of cultural continuity and connection for her clients.

Asha E will work with each mother to provide a high quality heart- centered wellness experience focused on creating a safe space for mama to feel, experience, and welcome the new changes in her life while intentionally creating a soothing and easeful space for baby to connect with her heart and grow.


SERVICES

Asha E offers a variety of services to assist you find peace, comfort, confidence and most importantly, connect to baby during your sacred pregnancy. Packages are individually customized to meet your needs and may include your personal touch of faith based or spiritually based tools.

  1. Prenatal Support: Asha works closely with expectant parents during the prenatal period, offering emotional support, education, and resources. She provides information on pregnancy and childbirth, helps parents prepare birth plans, and addresses any questions or concerns they may have.

  1. Emotional and Physical Support during Labor: Asha's presence during labor is a vital source of support. She offers continuous emotional encouragement, reassurance, and comfort measures such as breathing techniques, massage, and positioning suggestions. Asha creates a calm and supportive environment, helping parents feel empowered and safe during the birthing process.

  2. Advocacy and Communication: Asha serves as an advocate for expectant parents, ensuring their voices are heard and their preferences are respected by healthcare providers. She helps facilitate effective communication between parents and medical staff, assisting in decision-making processes and promoting informed choices.

  3. Birth Preparation: Asha assists parents in preparing for birth by providing education and resources. She may offer classes or workshops on topics such as childbirth education, relaxation techniques, coping strategies, and partner involvement. Asha works collaboratively with parents to develop birth plans that reflect their preferences and values.

  4. Postpartum Support: Asha's support extends into the postpartum period, providing guidance and assistance as parents navigate the early weeks of caring for their newborn.   1. Postpartum Doula Services: Asha extends her support into the postpartum period, offering assistance and guidance to new parents as they navigate the early weeks or months after childbirth. She provides emotional support, practical help with newborn care, breastfeeding support, assistance with household tasks, and helps parents adjust to the challenges and joys of parenthood.

  2. Bereavement Doula Support: Asha also specializes in providing compassionate care to families experiencing pregnancy loss or infant loss. As a bereavement doula, she offers emotional support, a safe space for grieving, and guidance in making meaningful decisions during this difficult time. Asha provides comfort measures, resources for healing, and assists in creating personalized rituals or ceremonies to honor and remember the baby.

  • Kalima Crooks is a compassionate and skilled assistant doula, dedicated to supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey. With expertise in placenta encapsulation, birth and postpartum care, and nanny services, Kalima is a trusted partner in creating a nurturing environment for new parents and their babies. As a certified massage specialist, she also offers healing touch therapies to help mothers relax and restore balance. Additionally, Kalima provides belly binding services upon request, aiding in postpartum recovery. Her holistic approach ensures that each family feels empowered, cared for, and deeply supported.

  • Ayesha Forde is a licensed massage therapist, womb practitioner, Reiki master, and death doula, bringing her holistic expertise to the Full Spectrum Spiritual Birthmark team. With a deep commitment to healing, Ayesha assists Asha and Kalmia in providing comprehensive support through all stages of life—birth, postpartum, and end-of-life care. Her nurturing energy and mastery of spiritual practices create a sacred space for transformation and healing, ensuring every client feels seen, supported, and empowered on their journey.
